Our Mission
CISE (Catholic Inner-city Schools Education) works to Rewrite Futures of urban children by providing access to a faith-based Catholic education at inner-city elementary schools and Catholic high schools. Strong values are taught in a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment.
How We Do It
Providing support for ten inner-city schools in Cincinnati’s poorest neighborhoods, CISE helps give over 2,600 students (PK-12th grade) an environment where they can learn, grow, thrive, and succeed. Our Catholic schools serve students with the single mission, to educate children out of poverty and into better lives. It’s a mission that changes courses, transforms lives, unlocks possibilities, and rewrites futures, one deserving and determined child at a time.
CISE helps schools deliver three key pillars which are vital to changing the cycle of poverty – Excellence in Education, A Safe Nurturing Environment, and Values for Life.
Excellence In Education
Each year, CISE students receive a quality Catholic school education thanks to our generous donors. CISE provides funding for a comprehensive educational pipeline from preschool through high school to help students achieve better outcomes in life.
