What is CISE-SGO? We are a state-certified Scholarship Granting Organization that turns your donation into tuition assistance for children who otherwise can’t afford a strong values-based education Cincinnati.
A donation to CISE-SGO not only opens doors to opportunities through education and vital services but also gives you an Ohio dollar-for-dollar tax credit (up to $750/individual or $1,500/married couple).

What We Do
Each year, students across Cincinnati receive a high-quality, faith-based education thanks to the generosity of CISE donors. But our impact goes beyond academics. From preschool to high school, we provide access, stability, essential support services, and strong values that help students succeed. In partnership with our schools, we fund a pipeline of services including health support, leadership development, and critical life skills. Rooted in faith and open to all, our schools nurture the whole child, building character, confidence, and a foundation for lifelong success.
Erin’s Story
“Catholic schools have had a profound impact on shaping my values and aspirations.”
Erin attended Prince of Peace elementary school and graduated from Purcell Marian with a CISE high school scholarship. She shares that her formative Catholic education would not have been possible without support from CISE.
She went on to receive a degree from the University of Toledo. Now working as a Government IT Manager, Erin is breaking barriers as the first woman of color in a leadership role at her company.
Erin recently enrolled her son in Catholic preschool, continuing the legacy of a strong, Catholic education.

Across the Cincinnati region, more than 3,000 CISE-supported students fill the halls of 12 Catholic elementary schools and 14 Catholic high schools.
